The thing about Perfection

Striving for perfection.

Is this the pursuit and obsession of success?

or is the quest for perfection as safe place to hide from doing the work each of us needs to do?

I am a lifelong student of Leadership, Strategy and Marketing, the more I learn and the more comfortable I become with tension the more evident to me it becomes that in my career more often I witness Hiding from the work because after all it is not “good enough or even perfect”.

Much less often is failure the case of the putting it on the line and shipping the work, maybe not perfect but on time.
