Connection society

We have the ability to connect with more people “Like Us” than ever in history

At one time it would impossible to dial in on a super “Outlier” Tribe when living in a small city in central Pennsylvania. For all of its shortcomings ( which are self induced btw), Social media and connection platforms make the options Limitless!

Never before would we have so much opportunity

But that draws me to a question of , How much is enough?

How much tilts the scale to Spam? you know.. noise…

Its about how we need to be giving generously, and doing something that will matter to those it is being created for, our #TRIBE

Without doing the work, engaging, creating conversation we will not reach those who we hope to reach

At the same time I have no desire to be connected 24/7

I also want to be diligent and real…I want to reply to every comment, question, email, everything because it is about MY Community, my TRIBE

So for me it will be about Structuring the platforms and really being open and personal

  1. T2 Experiment weekly Podcast (also outlined on blog)
  2. T2 Experiment Daily blog
  3. Facebook, Facebook Groups and Facebook Live
  4. Twitter
  5. Live Periscope from Gyms, Stores etc

As you can see this can organically develop into something great IF am able to:

  1. Provide something of value
  2. Connect with my TRIBE
  3. build Real realtionships

From this I would also look in Phase II to develop a platform to give visibility to the small, niche, remarkable Stories/brands/people…

Yes a Media group for the #Remarkable

As I have stated for years, “In this marketplace I often see Brands neglect Marketing and engagement”

Then they awaken, often as they free fall….Panic!

Overspend with Media groups that essentially tap in a thumbtack with a 20lb sledgehammer.

WHY? because they know the Platforms but not the Culture

A added fact is that often this Over doing it in Catch Up Mode is actually perceived as SPAM and not welcomed.


So for me its about putting the time in to understand the nuances of each platform and creating value for my Tribe…

Less can be more IF you #Care #Peoplematter so #MatterMore #Give
