“Just-in-time (JIT) is an inventory strategy companies employ to increase efficiency and decrease waste by receiving goods only as they are needed in the production process, thereby reducing inventory costs. This method requires producers to forecast demand accurately.
This inventory supply system represents a shift away from the older just-in-case strategy, in which producers carried large inventories in case higher demand had to be met.”
In the modern era, The warehouse is Dead!
and the few that understand and embrace this fact WIN BIGGLY!
Asta La Vista manufacturing as a major focus
No longer does creating a brand with impact require huge warehouses of product
manufacturing and Production are NOT remarkable
A TRUE “STORY” IS
I previously believed that the most integral piece in the “brand” matrix was production
I no longer do
Many companies set up this way have a tilted infastructure geared to manufacture
These companies IF run most efficiently “could” be powerful
The problem is most over value production/ manufacturing
(which is the most scalable)
and under value Sales & marketing
They do not tell a “Story” the resonates with a particular Tribe
Rather, they say nothing
They sell on Price
They may in essence produce something real and worthy
That becomes Moot Point as the brand FAILS..
Its DOES NOT HAVE TO END THAT WAY….
They can embrace the quest to be a brand worthy of a TRIBE
They can tell a TRUE STORY, Their STORY
They can accept a Real and Organic growth plan
They can rally around development of a Real Brand that MATTERS
and IF they do
IF they Respect and Embrace the STORY and STRATEGY
They can CREATE THE CHANGE….
The expertise then and only then in manufacturing in Just In Time practices can be of enormous impact
Until then,
Take care in tiling the soil, planting each seed, watering and …WAITING
ALL IN DUE TIME…
